The Biñan City Laguna Heroes is scheduled for a head-to-head game against the Pampanga Giant Lanterns at 6:30 P.M. on July 25, 2019 live from the Pasig Sports Complex, Pasig City.
The Heroes wanted to pick up their fourth win for this season while the Giant Lanterns are eyeing to make a bounce-back victory when the 2019 MPBL Lakan Cup continues in Pasig Sports Complex this evening.
The Laguna squad is coming from a convincing win against the Basilan Steel last July 19.
They allowed their opponent to convert only one three-pointer out of their twenty attempts. Likewise, they made sure that each of those misses was rebounded by them.
In that rebounding battle, the Heroes won, 53-42. Also, their supporting casts played a major role where they outscored Basilan in bench productions, 55-48.
For the Pampanga group, they got humiliated by the Manila Stars the last time they visited Manila, 76-92.
Rebounding is one of the areas they need to do well in their tonight’s schedule as they got lambasted by their previous opponent in crashing the boards, 39-53.
Also, they also need to limit their fouls. They have sent the Stars to the free-throw line 28 times in their last match.
Reil Cervantes was their leading scorer in their previous outing where he manufactured 23 points.
