"A Last Chance" for Bea and John Lloyd?

Bea Alonzo shared on Wednesday a first look at her reunion project with John Lloyd Cruz, notably with a reference to their iconic film “One More Chance.”

The long-time onscreen partners sit across each other in the image posted by Alonzo on Instagram, with the caption: “Matagal nang hindi nagkita at nagkasama. Puwede pa rin kayang magkaroon ng last chance?”

The photo also has the text, “A Last Chance?” — similar to the titles of their shared films as the well-loved characters Popoy and Basha: “One More Chance” in 2007 and “A Second Chance” in 2015.

While the image may have the impression that a third film is in the works, Alonzo’s hashtags indicate that it has something to do with a shawarma brand they both endorse.

Early this year, Cruz was introduced as the new endorser of the brand, joining Alonzo and another Star Magic artist Piolo Pascual.

In recent months, Cruz has become increasingly visible again in showbiz — he even has a cameo in the upcoming film "Culion" — following his nearly two-year hiatus to focus on his personal life
