f(x)’s Sulli has passed away by suicide

Choi Jin-ri,  better known by her stage name Sulli, has passed away at her home in Seongnam, South Korea.

Sulli was reportedly found dead when her manager went to her house at 3:20 PM after she couldn’t be contacted. Her management agency, SM Entertainment has also released a statement on her passing.

‘We cannot believe the situation, and we are simply in a state of grief.’

‘We express our deepest condolences to the deceased, who went on their final path.’

Sulli debuted as a member of South Korean girl group f(x) in 2009. She has then played notable roles in Korean shows ‘Hotel De Luna’, ‘The Night of Hate Comments’, and more.

She was often criticized for her sexually liberated views and actions – which were often looked down on. She went as far as taking a yearlong hiatus in 2014 because of rampant online hate.
