New lampposts along Jones Bridge Suprised Netizens

New lampposts along Jones Bridge in Manila have caught the attention of netizens, who gave mixed reactions.

Mayor Isko Moreno Domagoso has yet to give further details about the new lampposts but said they hired Jerry Acuzar, the architect behind historical resort Las Casas Filipinas de Acuzar, as consultant.
He earlier said a Chinese businessmen have donated P20 million for the rehabilitation of a bridge in the capital.

Some netizens said the lampposts look expensive and were not close to the original ones, while some gave positive feedback.

The actual lamp posts on the pre-war Jones Bridge was a lot simpler than the one on the illustration (Spanish era Puente de España).

Mas prefer ko sana if i-restore yung mga balyena/sirenna/pawikan design sa pylons ng orig na Jones Bridge.
