The event --done in partnership with the Department of Health, LoveYourself inc., UNAIDS, Red Whistle, Project Red Ribbon and Pilipinas Shell Foundation-- aims to educate our youth in the importance of knowing your own HIV status and raise awareness on its prevention.
Aside from the lecture, students’ skills and creativity were also showcased as Emmanuel Cadelina from Upper Bicutan National High School (UBNHS) emerged victorious in the Digital Arts Poster Making competition, followed by Carmeliza Gregorio from Taguig National High School while Roselle Jardiloza from Gat Andres Bonifacio High School bagged the third place.

Taguig Integrated School was declared the winner in the Interpretative Dance contest. In second place was Diosdado Macapagal High School and last but not the least, Upper Bicutan National High School in third place.
The theme for this year’s World AIDS Day is “Communities Make the Difference.”
Participants were also able to avail of free and confidential HIV testing and counseling during the event.
