Tropical Depression Ambo To Enhance Into Tropical Storm According To PAGASA

State weather bureau PAGASA said that tropical depression Ambo might strengthen into a tropical storm within the next 24 hours.

According to an article from ABS-CBN News, it is set to bring scattered light to moderate with occasional heavy rains over the entire Mindanao.

The weather disturbance was last seen at around 385 kilometers east of Surigao City and is nearly in a stationery motion.

It is packed with maximum sustained winds of 55 kilometers per hour and gustiness of about 70 kilometers per hour.

The bureau might raise tropical cyclone wind signal number 1 over certain areas in Eastern Visayas later o this day.

It is expected to approach Bicol Region on Thursday and make landfall there. It might then cross the capital and Quezon province on Friday.

As per the report, the first storm of 2020 bore down in the nation as it continues to be under quarantine due to the COVID-19 pandemic.

It is expected this evening that it will head to 350 kilometers east of Borongan City, Eastern Samar.
