Mayor Isko revokes ban of e-trikes

Manila Mayor Francisco “Isko Moreno” Domagoso on Monday (July 29) revoked the ban on e-tricycles. This was after he temporarily banned them in Manila on Friday (July 26).

Moreno confirmed this after talks with over 300 e-trike drivers Monday afternoon.

According to the Manila mayor, the city council will provide license to e-trike operators and will be registered under the Land Transportation Franchising and Regulatory Board (LTFRB) as part of its regulation.

Moreno also said e-trike routes will also be determined including regulated fares. However, their boundary will be decreased from P150 to P100.
